iPhone SDK!!

So i’ve got the SDK downloaded and set up on my machine. I had a quick look around and from on GUI point of view it looks very impressive. The icons are as you would expect from Apple, detailed yet somehow minimalist. All I need to do know is sit down and get to grips with the code.
I’m going to practice with the sample apps that they have provided to get used to the coding environment.
My next dilema is to decide what type of app I want to create. I have used Flash to create a editor that will sync with my other site to allow me to publish new stories from the desktop. This basically extends the browser so that I don’t have to always be online to write content. However with the iPhone’s always on internet connection this seems rather pointless. I did think about writing an app that would improve the text functionality but again there are already some out there. I was very impressed by the PhotoBooth type app that was showcased at the SDK launch and this inspired me to do something with images, perhaps using my knowledge of motion detection to build something. It would have been great if the iPhone had a front mounted camera then the user could see themselves, and the camera could track movement of the face for example.
I’m guessing that a front mounted camera, along with an improved rear camera and Flash will be features we will see in the next iPhone hardware update, again i’m guessing will come around June when the iPhone 2.0 software is due to be shipped?

It would be awesome if you could make an offline wordpress front end sort of application. And app that would download the details of your current posts/pages/comments/categories when you’re online, and allow you to edit those things (online) but then also allow you to create new posts, edit old posts (that have been downloaded), create new pages (and edit old pages) and edit categories, etc.
I guess this might be pretty hard though, but still sounds really awesome to me!
