With the release of Microsoft Office 2008, its seems the blogosphere has been sent into a frenzy with reports of excited customers – why??
As you may already no, i’m not Mr Gate’s biggest fan, however I do have to applaud his Office suite – its simple and easy to use. That is Office 2003 and not the 2007 version. Like Vista the new release of Office didn’t get the approval that Bill thought it should receive. The reason (this stands for Vista aswell) is that they tried to simplify something by over complicating an issue. Case and point – the ribbon interface!

So, it looks like I have upset a few Windows fans out there. I recently wrote two post’s as a bit of a rant towards Windows, and some of the comments back made me laugh. This isn’t an official blog, just merely one for my own thoughts and opinions. If people choose to read it, thats great, if not I enjoy learning about Wordpress and its array of plugins. However what does amuse me is the fact that people will use their time to come onto my blog and try and abuse me, for stating the obvious – Windows is rubbish!

So did you write your lame blog entry on a PC or Mac? You have misspellings and grammar problems all over the place.
1. You’re (notice the apostrophe) an idiot. I open files all day and never get an illegal operation error. Sounds like a stupid user error.
2. If it takes 10 minutes, you must be trying to run XP on a 386SX with 4mb RAM. As for Windows screens, you have the “loading” screen and the login screen....

I’ve had it with Microsoft – over the weekend I was trying to do a simple task – record some video from my TV card and burn it to disc. With my Mac, this would hav taken 10mins max. However I did not have he fortune of using it so instead had to revert back to my Dinosaur (2.4 GHz AMD Athlon 64 bit with 2GB RAM!! I say Dinosaur as my 2.0GHz Core 2 Duo Mac, sh*ts on it).
Anyway, I open up the TV software and begin recording. After I have finished I play it back – opens in Windows Media Player fine. No problems I thought!!
